HLWC - No, its made in China.

AWC - Yes

HLWC - No manufacturer warranty if you live in Australia the importer or retail must, by law, give each purchaser the minimum mandatory 6 month warranty.

AWC - Yes a 10 year Australian manufacturer warranty no matter where you purchase it from.

what size wheels will each wheel clamp fit

HLWC - Most standard vehicles wheels, will not fit 4wd wheels, limited to mainly alloy rims that have large enough holes in them so the arm of the wheel clamp can go inside the rim to secure the wheel, you can see this in the picture above. Can't use with wheel trims.

AWC - All size wheels from the smallest wheel on a jet ski trailer up to the largest wheel on a 4wd off road camper trailer with coil springs and / or piston suspension and all size wheels between, nothing to adjust to fit all size wheels.

do you have to measure the width or diameter of the tyre before purchasing

HLWC - Yes

AWC - No

how many size wheel clamps does each manufacturer make

HLWC - Based on their web site there is only one size fitting a limited number of different size wheels as stated above.

AWC - Only one size because the one size fits all size wheels from the smallest wheel on a jet ski trailer up to the largest wheel on a 4wd off road camper trailer and all size wheels between, nothing to adjust to fit all size wheels.

HLWC - Mild steel then powder coated.

AWC - 2mm thick stainless steel and 10mm diameter high tensile chain that is bolt cutter proof.

what type of lock does each wheel clamp have

HLWC - As you can see in the picture above and below it has an exposed simple push in lock that also is used to adjust the width of the wheel clamp.

AWC - Enforcer Wheel Clamp includes a high security padlock with a shackle that is bolt cutter proof. Supreme Wheel Clamp includes our patented locking system. The padlock is fully enclosed inside a thick walled stainless steel cylinder, see pictures Padlock Protection.
