Enforcer Australian Wheel Clamp consists of three components

consists of three parts

1: stainless steel shield

The Enforcer Australian Wheel Clamp stainless steel shield fits all size wheels from small wheels on jet ski trailers up to very large wheels on 4wd off road camper trailers and all size wheels between without adjusting anything no matter the make, model or year of the towable vehicle you want to protect.
This is achieved using a single length of 10mm diameter high tensile chain.

2: 10mm diameter high tensile chain

3: Enforcer Australian Wheel Clamp padlock

why is the position of the Enforcer Australian Wheel Clamp padlock important

stop
thieves cutting the padlocks shackle
As you can see in the picture of the Enforcer Australian Wheel Clamp below the position of the Abus 83/45 padlock under the 90 degree bend at the top of the stainless steel shield plus both thicknesses of the 10mm diameter high tensile chain ensures a thief cannot place the cutting blades of a bolt cutter around the padlocks shackle stopping the thief cutting the shackle.

note

If the Abus 83/45 padlock was not protected eg. being used with a chain to secure a gate to a post or double gates together it would be extremely difficult to cut the shackle due to being made from hardened stainless steel.

why do we use 10mm diameter high tensile chain

Before we started to design the Australian made wheel clamp in August 2005 our aim was, to design a unique wheel clamp.
A wheel clamp that not only wraps around the vehicles wheel we also wanted it secured to the vehicles chassis.
no other wheel clamp brand does this
After testing different designs we figured out the only method to achieve this is using a chain.

how

types of chain

We researched different types of chain, we were surprise practically all chain used for security eg. chain and padlock is thin 4mm or 6mm diameter mild steel chain that is easy and quick to cut with a cheap short 12 inch long bolt cutter anyone can buy at Bunnings, Mitre 10 or their local hardware shop for about five dollars.

why do people buy mild steel chain

its cheap

the problem is

cheap
does not
equal good security
We wanted a chain that cannot be cut with a bolt cutter no matter if its 12 inches long or the longest available 36 inches long.

solution

this is why we include
10mm diameter high tensile chain
